Handmade from English oak grown in Warwickshire and sourced from responsible forestry practices.
English oak has grown for hundreds of years in the Warwickshire countryside, and the trees are still a familiar and revered sight today, lining hedgerows, standing proud in fields or sitting majestically in small woodlands.
The oak was the principal tree of The Forest of Arden which once surrounded the town of Stratford upon Avon, and is the setting for Shakespeare's As You Like It. This ancient woodland which stretched across the breadth of Warwickshire was said to be so dense that a squirrel could jump from tree to tree across the whole county.

As You Like It
This hanging decoration, hand-crafted from Warwickshire oak, comprises a stack of books piled high featuring the Shakespeare play titles of Macbeth, The Tempest, Cymbeline, Pericles, Hamlet, Othello and King Lear. Complete with brass screw and natural jute twine.
Due to its organic nature, the natural shades and tones of wood may change according to external circumstances. We recommend wiping occasionally with a natural mineral oil to help preserve the finish of the wood.
